How toxic is working with spray paint

Working with spray paint can be toxic if proper precautions are not taken. The fumes contain solvents, chemicals, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) that can be harmful when inhaled. Prolonged exposure to these fumes can cause respiratory issues, headaches, dizziness, and irritation to the eyes, skin, and throat. Some spray paints also contain hazardous substances like lead or chromium, which can be particularly dangerous when inhaled or ingested.
